I am Cary Ann and I am your host of Slayed in the Sticks. I have a passion for True Crime and usually spend a portion of my day watching, reading or listening to something with murder and mayhem. That might seem odd to some but there is a group of us that love it and I am glad you are here!
My Story
Where do I start? I am a Mom and Wife first and foremost. I spent almost 20 years as a Medic and Firefighter. When I "retired" from doing that I was a 911 dispatcher in a suburb of Atlanta. Yes, I have seen and heard some interesting and gruesome things
I live in a small town and most of my family lives in a small town. Many people think "that doesn't happen in a small town" I am here to tell you - yeah it sure the hell does!
